About Me

My name is Alesha and I am a survivor of Postpartum Anxiety. My professional background includes being a labor and delivery nurse for the last 12 years. Over this time, I have gained a lot of experience in helping other women during the postpartum period. After my own personal experience with postpartum anxiety, I have felt compelled to help other women during this challenging time. I am a postpartum support coordinator for North Carolina and enjoy helping other women overcome these battles. My experience was eye opening that postpartum mood and anxiety disorders can happen to anyone.

Successful mothers are not the ones that have never struggled. They are the ones that never give up despite the struggles.

Sharon Jaynes

Mothers need just as much attention as a newborn, because they too have just been born.
